Each Retold bag can hold up to 5 lbs. Bag dimensions are 15.5 x 17.5 x 4”, thats about the size of a pillow case. In total The Closet Clean-out will take care of 50 lbs!  
*Please note there is an additional 1.5" wide adhesive strip that folds over to seal the bag.

Fill your bag – whether it’s just one sock or packed to the brim! Our pre-labeled bags come with a shipping label already attached, so they’re good to go right away.

*For orders of Three Bags in a Box, labels can be purchased separately afterward.

Once you're all set, simply drop it off at your mailbox, mail room, or with your doorman and skip the lines at the post office! We'll take it from there, giving your unwanted items a whole new story to tell.

We’ll do the right thing

Bag is smaller than described
The usable dimensions of the bag are 15.5 inches wide and 17.5 inches long, with an additional 2-inch wide strip at the end with adhesive that folds over to seal the bag. The bag is NOT as large as a pillowcase as described on the Retold website. I am disappointed in the lack of honesty in the company’s marketing.
In four bags, I fit the following men’s clothing: 10 t-shirts, 9 casual shirts, 2 light sweaters, 5 pairs of socks, 1 pair of jeans and 2 pairs of shorts. I needed two bags for a queen-size flannel flat bedsheet, fitted sheet and standard pillowcase.

We're sorry you found our size description misleading - we aim to be fully transparent in our marketing and appreciate you bringing this to our attention - we have since updated our product to reflect the inches lost with our adhesive strip. Our bag size is limited by our use of eco-friendly, compostable materials, but we understand this can be frustrating when dealing with larger items like bedding. Great way to recycle textiles
We have had, at times, textiles just piling up in our house, waiting for an event or location to offer textile recycling. We really appreciate Retold providing the resources and service to keep these materials out of a landfill.

#nolandfill
Slowly decluttering my whole house. Towels, socks, clothes I no longer need, clothes no one needs (ripped, stained), I keep a bag in laundry room by the dryer.. when filled off it goes to be reused or recycled without going to a landfill. Thank you!
I wish the bags were less. I always buy on sale.
